Delridge History
In 1905 William Pigott and Judge E.M. Wilson opened the Seattle Steel Company. Delridge built up around the new steel mill beginning with a passenger train carrying 500 people from Seattle to the opening reception. The mill has been running strong since, and it is now occupied by Nucor Steel. Delridge itself, however, has grown into its own.
